- No joystick required: you can fly the CockpitWeb Sim at home on a laptop in your sofa, without any requirement for additional gear like joystick or rudder pedals.
- 15 seconds: you can start any maneuver or procedure within 15 seconds, including the entire setup of frequencies, courses, altitude, speed, flaps, gear, minimums... Sim-ply amazing! That's a 15 seconds preflight only!
- Fly at your local airport: you can virtually fly at your local airport and at the airport you will ‘visit’ tomorrow, during IFR flight or simulator assessment and practice the local procedures. We give a new definition to flight preparation.
- Computer-based exercises included. Because reading a manual is not enough to learn procedures. You also need hands-on experience. The IFR Training includes 70 different IFR exercises. The Jetliner training includes 40 different Jetliner exercises. Special algorithms have been developed to generate millions of random exercises.

From student-pilots to experienced airline pilots! The
CockpitWeb Sim is aimed at ALL pilots of ALL levels. It is the perfect preparation for:

- Airline interview simulator assessments
- New type rating
- Simulator LPCs and OPCs (License & Operator Proficiency Checks)
- Upgrade to Captain
- MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation), APS (Airline Pilot Standard) or JOC (Jet Orientation Course) training
- Jet conversion
- IFR Training

Do you have an IFR flight or simulator check tomorrow? Then check the weather forecast, set the wind and practice the local procedures already today!

"The CockpitWeb SIm is engineered to be particularly stable. The authors have dubbed this stability feature 'Autotrim', stressing that it allows pilots to focus entirely on learning instrument and navigation procedures rather than struggling to control the aircraft itself. Pilots just starting instrument training and discovering the mental workload that's involved will find the Autotrim a real bonus. The Autotrim system does have the benefit of making the CockpitWeb Sim truly flyable using a keyboard, something that isn't a rewarding experience with most sims." PC Pilot Magazine, U.K.

"The software's biggest attraction is its series of practical exercises, which grade you as you fly and follow a logical instruction syllabus. Programmed exercises start with the basics and progress to the complex." PC Pilot Magazine, U.K.

"The manual is an excellent summary of the essential theory of instrument flight and is particularly handy because it manages to combine a comprehensive approach with compactness. It gathers information into a single reference volume and lets you in on the pragmatic tips instructors use to help students handle the mental gymnastics that are a feature of instrument flight. The material is arranged in the logical sequence typical of a real-world training syllabus, starting with the basics of attitude instrument flying and closing with the complex subjects." PC Pilot Magazine, U.K.

"The IFR manual is an integral part of the <IFR Training Simulator > concept, and is very well explained and illustrated.", Microsimulateur Magazine, France.

The CockpitWeb Sim was nominated as finalist in the prestigious Flight Global Magazine Aerospace Industry Awards for its "innovation and excellence" in the General Aviation sector!

Testimonials

"The Sim is a solid training aid for students - and instructors - of instrument flying, particularly where new concepts and procedures are being introduced for the first time. I could see myself recommending this software to instrument students and using it as part of a training syllabus, demonstrating new material and assigning exercises to build the student's confidence and highlight deficiencies to be addressed before jumping in an airplane. The Autotrim feature is excellent for students being introduced to tricky - and initially overwhelming - concepts such as determining how to apply mnemonics including 'Pilot-Teacher-Dummy' and 'NDBTOP' to plan / enter a hold and then stay in protected airspace despite crosswinds." Iain D., Commercial Flight Instrument Instructor / reviewer.

"Allow me to congratulate you for the quality, robustness, and great accuracy of your software. I like the great tutorial, the ease of use, and the Autotrim that removes all the frustration associated with the typically unstable pitch trimming found in most simulators." Frederic B.

"I read your whole book. I like the style of it because there's no blabla - it comes directly to the point." Felix M.

"Your book and the computerized exercises are very interesting by providing tricks to help the IR or future IR pilot." Patrick D.

"What is great is the exercise part linked with the tutorial book and to have 1 software for conversions, mass and balance, exercises and simulator. Real value for money!" Philippe L..

"It's really great!" Thomas D.

"I recommend the Cockpitweb Sim because it is devoted to IFR fundamentals and it does this very well, without any other trouble of piloting the aircraft. Furthermore it's a very light and quick launched software. The simulator itself is, of course, the best part of the program but the manual is very good too, in teaching or training oneself in IFR basics." Gérard L.

"The Cockpitweb Sim is very useful for several reasons:
- For the future IR pilot he would be more familiar with the use of the NDB, VOR and ILS before beginning the simulator or flight phase of the IR course. It would avoid additional training and will allow the fastest move during the training phase and thus better 'economy' and a higher level.
- For an already IR qualified pilot the Sim is a wonderful, inexpensive tool which can be run on every PC (a must) and which is a procedure trainer allowing to maintain the skills (for the computations, timing and materialization). I have been flying a Locator approach with a Holding after several months without flying, the software has helped me to remain familiar with the needle management and to be less loaded when flying the approach."
Patrick D.

"Impressive! An ideal tool for serious students of fixed-wing instrument flying. The IFR manual provides an excellent summary of the theory of instrument flying, punctuated with valuable suggestions and hints. It also links effectively with the simulator's programmed exercises that will test whether you really can apply the instrument flying theory you've learned. " PC Pilot Magazine, U.K.

"An amazing product. The advantages of this product, created by and for pilots, are indisputable. A very complete package." Microsimulateur, France
